Originally from Gatineau, Quebec, Marc-André fell for the charms of Sherbrooke, where he did his studies and eventually settled down. Although he began his academic career in education and spent several years working in a pharmacy lab, he ultimately found his calling in translation. After three internship rotations at SYM Communications, he stayed with the agency to start his career as a language professional.

He loves making a living from his passion for puzzles—not the jigsaw kind but rather the ones you work out with your mind. In his coordination role, he happily manages and doles out the agency’s daily requests. As a translator and editor, he mentally bends over backwards to solve language problems.

Marc-André has a hand in every text that crosses the agency’s desk. He enjoys boning up on the daily news, particularly to know what’s being studied in the Senate and House of Commons.

Outside of work, Marc-André puts his puzzles aside for other hobbies, such as reading and Zumba. He loves to get his vocal cords humming at karaoke nights surrounded by good friends.
