Tourist brochures
Our various English-to-French projects for the Government of Yukon include tourist brochures showcasing the region’s unique flora and fauna. This project required extensive research about the Yukon and its natural environment. The resulting brochures provide French-speaking tourists with clear information on the plants and wildlife they may encounter during their trip.
Press releases
SYM Communications is the official agency for the English-to-French translation of the Government of Manitoba’s press releases. In this role, we are often called upon to deliver same-day translations for releases to be posted on the province’s website. On top of this quick turnaround, we have to meet the client’s requirements and ensure the French is impeccable.
Survey
SYM Communications is the proud translation partner of organizations that work in both of Canada’s official languages. For example, Alinea International, an international development consultancy, chose us for a vast and varied range of projects that need spot-on terminology combined with flawless style. We translated one of Alinea’s surveys from French into English for a technical assistance project with Global Affairs Canada, showing that our team is ready for any kind of text.

Forge Distribution, a leading Canadian distributor of fireplaces and stoves, is one of SYM Communications’ industrial clients. Their projects require extensive research and analysis, which is all in a day’s work for our team of linguists. Past projects include a detailed product catalogue, which we translated from the original English into French. The job required painstaking terminological finesse and a high level of creativity to make the language as warm and appealing as the products the client specializes in.

We are masters in the art of online translation, adding our own special touch to many websites over the years. For example, Libéo, a Quebec-based web agency, asked us to translate their website from French to English. Our team followed a detailed plan to deliver a product that truly reflects the agency’s image and mission.
