Translator and Coordination Assistant

After 10 years of swabbing decks in the hospitality industry, Danahée was itching for a new adventure. That’s when she found her way into the world of translation.

She is yet another excellent candidate who has come to us through the internship program at the Université de Sherbrooke. She did her first two internship rotations with us before setting sail for another translation agency for her third. By the time she completed her bachelor’s degree, she knew that Sym was where she wanted to drop anchor. She joined our crew full-time in spring 2026.

Ever the curious soul, Danahée is happiest when navigating the waters of art, literature, and film, all of which shape the way she sees the world. Translation serves as her compass, broadening her horizons and fuelling her intellectual exploration.

At home, Danahée always has several art projects on the go—from drawing to crochet to macramé—with her trusty rabbit Sundae by her side.
